Formerly known as Dawood Hercules Corporation, Engro Holdings is the holding company and investing platform of the Engro enterprise. We invest capital in good businesses that strive to solve meaningful problems with character-based leadership.

Businesses that add value to the world can be found anywhere; for this reason, Engro Holdings considers investing in all sectors of the economy. We participate in businesses by providing them with access to financial capital, professional networks, and best-in-class governance practices and standards. The majority of our investment is in our wholly owned subsidiary Engro Corporation, which is a portfolio manager for a number of businesses including but not limited to Engro Fertilizers, Engro Polymer & Chemicals, Engro Energy, Engro Eximp FZE and Engro Enfrashare. We do not directly manage these businesses – in fact, we have a special preference for well-managed businesses with robust leadership teams who are best suited to lead based on their areas of excellence.
